Stagecraft heeft een gratis VST plug-in uitgebracht waarmee je samples en muziek van SoundCloud kunt zoeken en importeren in je digitale audiowerkstation. In de onderstaande video wordt deze handige tool gedemonstreerd met Ableton Live. Wij konden SoundCloud Browser helaas niet aan de praat krijgen op onze Windows-computer, maar het is wel het proberen waard als je gek bent op samples van anderen. Mocht je de samples gebruiken in commerciële producties, dan moet je natuurlijk wel even checken of je deze hiervoor mag gebruiken.
Stagecraft has released a free VST plug-in that lets you search and drop samples and music from SoundCloud into your digital audio workstation. In the video below, this handy tool is demonstrated with Ableton Live. Unfortunately SoundCloud Browser doesn’t work (yet) on our Windows computer, but it’s worth a try if you like to use samples made by others. For commercial productions you should investigate if you are allowed to use the samples, of course.
