Demonstratie Karlax midi-controller Musiclab #6 in AmsterdamKarlax midi controller presented on Musiclab #6 in Amsterdam

Op maandagavond 28 maart aanstaande vindt Musiclab #6 plaats in Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam. Musiclab is een tweemaandelijks programma over muziek, technologie en creativiteit.

Tijdens dit evenement zal de midi-controller Karlax worden gedemonstreerd door Rémi Dury van het Franse bedrijf Da Fact. Karlax is een expressieve midi-controller die met het hele lichaam wordt bespeeld. On Monday evening March 28th the event Musiclab #6 takes place in Amsterdam. Musiclab is a two monthly program about music, technology and creativity.

Rémi Dury of the French company Da Fact will demonstrate the Karlax MIDI controller. Karlax is an expressive instrument played by the whole body.

In de korte tijd na de introductie van touchAble voor de iPad heeft de app met versie 1.1 enorm veel nieuwe functionaliteit gekregen. In de onderstaande video kun je de nieuwe features in werking zien van deze iPad-controller voor Ableton Live. Onder andere zijn dat tempoverandering, het aantal tracks op het scherm, de clipgrootte, en “relatieve schuifknoppen”.Shortly after the introduction, touchAble has lots of new features with the new 1.1 version. In this video you can see these new features of the iPad controller for Ableton Live. New additions are tempo change, the number of tracks on the touch screen, different clip heights and “relative faders”.
