Lemur is nu beschikbaar als app voor de iPad, een logische ontwikkeling. De softwareontwikkelaar Liine is verantwoordelijk voor de poort naar iOS.The Lemur is back. Je kunt met deze app natuurlijk niet zo lekker bladeren als met de originele uitgave, maar een voordeel is dat je naast de originele content een flink aantal audiovoorbeelden kunt beluisteren bij de verschillende lessen. The book The Secrets of House Music Production by Sample Magic is now available as an app for the iPad. On the iPad you can’t go through the pages like the original version, but the advantage of the app is that the tutorials include audio examples in addition to the original content.

We schrijven nog niet dat Genome MIDI Sequencer zo’n beetje de enige midi-app met MIDI Clock/Sync is, of het blijkt dat Polychord 2 net is geüpdatet met dezelfde eigenschappen. Polychord voor iPad verzendt nu midi-output naar alle beschikbare poorten: usb, WiFi en virtual midi.After we posted the article about Genome MIDI Sequencer, we learned that it is not the only app with MIDI MIDI Clock / Sync. White Noise Audio heeft Genome MIDI Sequencer (GMS) gelanceerd voor de iPad. Deze sequencer maakt zelf geen geluid, maar kan andere hardware als synthesizers en drummachines aansturen met midi. Er bestaan al andere midi-sequencers op de iPad, maar het bijzondere aan GMS is dat deze midi-kloksignalen kan verzenden en ontvangen. Zo kun je deze synchroniseren met het tempo van je hardware.White Noise Audio has released Genome MIDI Sequencer (GMS) for iPad. This sequencer app makes no sounds, but controls other hardware like synthesizers and drum machines via MIDI. There are already other MIDI sequencers available for the iPad, but the special thing about GMS is that it can send and receive MIDI clock messages. So it can sync to the tempo of your hardware.
