 Brian William Green van seeinyoursleep.com geeft zijn pakket Accordion Drone Samples weg, gemaakt van de tonen van een speelgoedaccordion. De samples heeft hij verder bewerkt tot eindeloze drones, een knap staaltje sounddesign waarmee Green laat horen dat je met de meest eenvoudige instrumenten als basis tot indrukwekkende resultaten kunt komen. |

 Halloween Sound Effects – Scary Voices van Peace Love Productions is een setje van 20 loops, ingesproken door Johann Smit van de gothicband KHEMIQUE. De loops bestaan uit enkele woorden en volledig uitgesproken zinnen, geheel in de enge Halloween-sfeer. De samples zijn beschikbaar in rex2, sfx, aiff en wav-formaat. |
 De Nieuw-Zeelandse componist en producer Rhian Sheehan heeft zijn eerste sample pack Ambient Textures geüpload. De meeste samples heeft hij gemaakt met een elektrische gitaar en de plugin Altiverb. Het pakket bestaat uit 10 textures in 16-bits aiff-formaat. |
 Ook Thrash DI van SampleOddity is rechtstreeks gesampled van de elektrische gitaar. Het gitaargeluid is opgenomen zonder effecten als distortion, chorus of galm. Deze moet je zelf toevoegen, een voordeel omdat je deze optimaal kunt inpassen in je muziek. Thrash DI is beschikbaar voor Kontakt.
