Uit de vele beschikbare microfoons is het lastig de juiste te kiezen. De microfoonmaker RØDE wil het zijn gebruikers eenvoudiger maken met Soundbooth, een online-microfoonvergelijkingspagina.
Aan de hand van een bluessong kun je voor onder andere de drums, zang, bas en piano verschillende opnames van microfoons met elkaar vergelijken. Zo kom je er misschien achter dat die ene heel dure microfoon toch niet heel veel uitmaakt als je een goede zangeres in huis hebt.
RØDE heeft ook een iPadversie van Soundbooth beschikbaar gemaakt.
