Ableton biedt tijdelijk tot 1 oktober online-lessen aan voor nieuwe gebruikers van Live 8. Dit betreft zowel voor kopers van de volledige versie van Live 8 als voor upgrades. Dit is niet eens zo’n gek idee als je bedenkt dat sequencers tegenwoordig zoveel mogelijkheden hebben dat het voor nieuwe gebruikers lastig kan zijn om deze in een keer te doorgronden.Most of Live 8’s bugs are solved now, so Ableton can focus on other things. The sequencer (and other sequencers too!) has so many features nowadays that new users may find it complicated. Until Oktober 31st new Live 8 users get some extra online lessons.

De Franse softwareontwikkelaar Ohm Force heeft zes nieuwe video’s geplaatst waarin een aantal features worden vertoond van de interface van Ohm Studio. Deze video’s laten zien dat deze nieuwe sequencer behoorlijk flexibel is. The French software developer Ohm Force has uploaded six new videos which reveal the features of the Ohm Studio interface. This new sequencer will be quite flexible, as shown in the videos.

Op 11 september geeft Thavius Beck een demonstratie van Ableton Live en de Novation Launchpad controller tijdens het Live Beats evenement in Rotterdam.In September Thavius Beck gives a demonstration of Ableton Live and the Novation Launchpad controller during the Live Beats event in Europe. Beck will mainly focus on the Launchpad, but will also demonstrate other hardware controllers and the Novation Automap software.
