Dit in tegenstelling tot andere gitaarinterfaces als iRig van IK Multimedia of de nieuwe iXZ audio-interface van Tascam. Line 6 has announced the Mobile In guitar interface for iPad and iPhone 4. This interface is connected to the digital 30 pin connector, unlike other guitar interfaces like IK Multimedia iRig or the new iXZ audio interface by Tascam.

Polychord voor iPad verzendt nu midi-output naar alle beschikbare poorten: usb, WiFi en virtual midi.After we posted the article about Genome MIDI Sequencer, we learned that it is not the only app with MIDI MIDI Clock / Sync. Er bestaan al andere midi-sequencers op de iPad, maar het bijzondere aan GMS is dat deze midi-kloksignalen kan verzenden en ontvangen. Zo kun je deze synchroniseren met het tempo van je hardware.White Noise Audio has released Genome MIDI Sequencer (GMS) for iPad. This sequencer app makes no sounds, but controls other hardware like synthesizers and drum machines via MIDI. There are already other MIDI sequencers available for the iPad, but the special thing about GMS is that it can send and receive MIDI clock messages. So it can sync to the tempo of your hardware.

Deze hadden we even gemist. SunVox is een modulaire tracker van de Russische softwaremaker Warmplace. De tracker beschikt over diverse synthesizers, een sampler en effecten. Het aardige van SunVox is dat deze op veel platformen beschikbaar is. Zo is er ondersteuning voor Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Windows Mobile, PalmOS, Maemo, en iOS (iPhone/ iPad).
