Trance-track geproduceerd met Ableton Live 9

Het is altijd interessant en leerzaam om te zien hoe anderen hun tracks maken. In deze video produceert Sadowick in ongeveer een uur een basisarrangement van een trance-track met Ableton Live 9, een paar sample packs, Sylenth en een Access Virus Snow. Opvallend is dat hij start in de (lineaire) Arrangement View van Ableton Live, waar veel anderen in de Session View starten om hun eerste ideeën in te schetsen.It is always interesting to see how others create their tracks. In this video Sadowick produces a basic arrangement of a trance track in about an hour with Ableton Live 9, a few sample packs, Sylenth and an Access Virus Snow. Remarkably, he starts in the (linear) Arrangement View of Ableton Live, where many others start in the Session View to sketch some of their first ideas.

Dit demonstreert de Amerikaanse artiest Jack Conte in de onderstaande video, die momenteel met ruim 1 miljoen kijkers binnen een week behoorlijk viraal gaat op YouTube. Deze remix van Daft Punk en Skrillex bevat alleen een aantal vocale samples van de beroemde elektronische artiesten, de rest heeft Conte naar eigen zeggen zelf geproduceerd.With the Novation Launchpad and Ableton Live you can have a lot of fun. This is demonstrated by the American artist Jack Conte in the video below. It is going pretty viral on YouTube. An impressive amount of over 1 million people watched the video within one week time.

Freemasons demonstreert parallelle effecten in Reason 7

James Wiltshire van Freemasons demonstreert in deze video de voordelen van parallelle effecten met behulp van Reason 7. In Reason 7, dat op 30 april aanstaande wordt uitgebracht, is de toepassing van parallelle effecten als compressie nog eenvoudiger geworden met behulp van de mixer die is geïnspireerd op de beroemde SSL-mixconsole.James Wiltshire of Freemasons demonstrates the benefits of parallel effects processing in this video. Freemasons produce their mixes in Reason 7, which will be released on April 30. Parallel processing is enhanced with the introduction of Reason 7 as Wiltshire shows in the video.
