Wave Machine Labs heeft Auria aangekondigd, een digitale audio werkstation (DAW) voor de iPad. Auria kan tot 48 audiotracks aan en zou tot wel 24 tracks tegelijk op kunnen nemen, niet slecht gezien de hardwarespecificaties van de tablet. Interessant is dat Wave Machine Labs een aantal makers van VST-effecten heeft benaderd voor de effectensectie.Wave Machine Labs has announced Auria, a digital audio workstation (DAW) for the iPad. Auria can handle up to 48 audio tracks and would be able to record up to 24 tracks simultaneously, not bad considering the hardware specifications of the tablet. Interesting is that Wave Machine Labs approached some makers of VST effects for the effects section.

Ableton Live krijgt binnenkort een directe concurrent met de introductie van Bitwig Studio. Deze nieuwe sequencer lijkt als twee druppels water op Ableton Live.Ableton Live will soon get a direct competitor with the introduction of Bitwig Studio. Native Instruments introduceerde een tijdje geleden Machine, de succesvolle drumsoftware en controller. AKAI kan natuurlijk niet achterblijven met zijn roemruchte MPC-verleden. Met de MPC Renaissance hoopt de hardwaremaker een geduchte concurrent voor Machine in de markt te zetten en de MPC-serie nieuw leven in te blazen.A while back Native Instruments introduced Machine, the successful drum software and controller. AKAI could not stay behind with its infamous MPC past. With the MPC Renaissance the hardware manufacturer hopes to bring a great competitor in the market for Machine and to bring new life into the MPC series.
