Steinberg heeft de laatste tijd veel nieuwe hardwareproducten uitgebracht voor gebruikers van Cubase en Nuendo. Op vrijdag 7 oktober aanstaande kun je deze producten bewonderen bij Teach Music in Rotterdam tijdens de Steinberg Producer Avond. Op deze avond zijn demonstraties van de zes modulaire Steinberg CMC usb-controllers en de Steinberg UR28M en UR824 audiointerfaces.Steinberg has recently released many new hardware products for users of Cubase and Nuendo. On Friday October 7 you can admire these products at Teach Music in Rotterdam during the Steinberg Producer Evening. On this evening you can watch demonstrations of the six modular Steinberg CMC USB controllers and the two UR series audio interfaces.

Op 30 september verschijnt Reason 6. Naast nieuwe effecten wordt het pakket Record in Reason 6 geïntegreerd, een logische stap van Propellerhead. Voor Reason 5/ Record-gebruikers heeft Propellerhead Software in de maand oktober de unieke Pay What You Want-actie, waarbij je zelf mag bepalen wat je voor de upgrade betaalt. On September 30, Reason 6 will be released. Besides some new effects, the complete Record package including the nice mixing console will be integrated in Reason 6. That’s a logical step by Propellerhead. Until the end of October, Propellerhead Software has the unique Pay What You Want-deal for Reason 5/ Record users.

Propellerhead Software zal eind september Reason 6 uitbrengen. Nieuw in Reason 6 is onder andere Alligator, een gate-effect voorzien van filters waarmee je te gekke dingen kunt doen. Propellerhead Software will release Reason 6 at the end of September. Reason 6 includes Alligator, a gate effect with filters that allow you to do crazy things.

White Noise Audio heeft Genome MIDI Sequencer (GMS) gelanceerd voor de iPad. Deze sequencer maakt zelf geen geluid, maar kan andere hardware als synthesizers en drummachines aansturen met midi. Er bestaan al andere midi-sequencers op de iPad, maar het bijzondere aan GMS is dat deze midi-kloksignalen kan verzenden en ontvangen. Zo kun je deze synchroniseren met het tempo van je hardware.White Noise Audio has released Genome MIDI Sequencer (GMS) for iPad. This sequencer app makes no sounds, but controls other hardware like synthesizers and drum machines via MIDI. There are already other MIDI sequencers available for the iPad, but the special thing about GMS is that it can send and receive MIDI clock messages. So it can sync to the tempo of your hardware.

Deze hadden we even gemist. SunVox is een modulaire tracker van de Russische softwaremaker Warmplace. De tracker beschikt over diverse synthesizers, een sampler en effecten. Het aardige van SunVox is dat deze op veel platformen beschikbaar is. Zo is er ondersteuning voor Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Windows Mobile, PalmOS, Maemo, en iOS (iPhone/ iPad). We have missed this one. SunVox is a modular tracker by the Russian software maker Warmplace. The tracker has several synthesizers, a sampler and effects. Subaqueous heeft ruim 40 gratis dubstep en downtempo midi-drumgrooves uitgebracht. De drumgrooves komen rechtstreeks van zijn eerste album Wave Pulse en worden geleverd met een Ableton Live-set.Subaqueous has released over 40 free dubstep and downtempo MIDI drum grooves. The drum grooves come straight from his first album Pulse Wave.
